Regatta Committee (RC) is an application designed to make managing friendly sailboat regattas as simple as possible. If you are responsible for recording race results at your sailing club — with multiple races per week and up to around a hundred participating boats of different classes — RC can greatly simplify your work. It lets you record finish times directly from the committee boat using your phone or tablet, and instantly share results once the race is over.

RC is installed on a phone or tablet. It lets you create your own regattas with the participating boats and record results across a series of races, then easily share them with interested parties. A detailed per-race ranking and a cumulative results table are generated automatically.

The application can be installed on any recent mobile phone or tablet running iOS (iPhones, iPads) or Android (Samsung, Pixel, Nexus, etc.). Install it directly from the Apple App Store for iOS, or Google Play Store for Android — the store will automatically detect compatibility with your device.

A web version running on Windows or macOS is available at: https://app.regattacommittee.com/. It offers the same functionality as the mobile versions and lets you take advantage of larger desktop screens.

The basic application is free. It allows you to view results and participating boats for any published regatta.

The PRO version gives you access to creating and managing your own regattas, including cloud storage for your results. Pricing is shown automatically in the currency of your country. For example, in Canada:

• Annual subscription: $15.00 CAD/year
• Monthly subscription: $2.50 CAD/month

Yes. The creator of a regatta can modify a published result at any time. Simply select the result to correct and edit it as desired — the ranking and cumulative points table will update automatically.

The application allows you to delete your account as well as all data associated with it. This function is available in the menu Settings then Delete account. After confirmation, your account and all associated data will be permanently erased.

The PRO version unlocks full regatta management capabilities:

• Create and manage your own regattas
• Add boats and define boat classes
• Record race starts and finish times
• Publish results to the cloud instantly
• Manage handicap systems (PHRF, time on time, time on distance)

There are no hard limits on the number of boats or classes. However, screen size should be considered to minimize the time needed to locate a boat as it finishes. The app has been optimized for fleets of 20–30 boats per class and up to 5 or 6 different boat classes.

There is no limit to the number of races per regatta.

Yes. Once you have registered the boats for a regatta, that fleet can be easily reused for subsequent regattas, saving you significant data entry time.

Yes. You can run as many races as you like within a single regatta. The app automatically computes a per-race ranking and an overall cumulative standings table.
